Taxi owners in Attica will go on 24-hour repeated strikes as of Tuesday.

In a statement, taxi owners, members of the Pan-Hellenic Taxi Federation, said they are protesting against the abolition of the minimum three-hour car rental contract with drivers requested by the institutions, and in particular by the IMF representatives. The Greek government and Transport Minister Christos Spirtzis denied such a prospect; however, the issue is one of the pending prior actions required for approving the final review.
