On board the Tigerair flight from hell: Six-hour delays, people throwing rubbish and the police called in to calm down furious passengers.

A passenger flying Tigerair Australia between Sydney and Melbourne has blasted the airline for what they have described as the ‘flight from hell’.

Police had to be called in to deal with unruly flyers and a customer urinated near the departure gate, the passenger told Daily Mail Australia, after one of the budget carrier’s flights was delayed by six hours.

Flight TT263 on June 8 was due to depart at 5.25pm but the Boeing 737 aircraft did not leave Sydney until 11.26pm, resulting in a 12.35am arrival into Melbourne.

The police were there as people were yelling and throwing rubbish,’ they said.

‘They were yelling “Just tell us what is going on so we can get another flight”. One guy said he missed a meeting which cost him $30,000.

‘Someone then urinated on the floor because Sydney airport was closed. The bathrooms were being cleaned.’
